Review) TheFaceShop Lovely ME:EX Pastel Cushion Blusher - Peach Cushion

HEYYY :))
Back with another review!
I was really wanting to get a nice peachy blush.
And found this one.
Many people liked it, so I decided to try it as well.

The ME:EX pastel blusher has 5 different shades.
I got the No. 5 Peach cushion, but now that I look at it I really want the No. Coral cushion too!

The packaging is adorable!
If this is their marketing strategy,ITS WORKING PRETTY WELL!
Seeing this in a store would make me not be able to resist buying it.

The cute little puff that comes with it is actually really nice and soft too!

The little ribbon on the puff is to die for!!

LOOOL, I've been using it quite a while lately so the puffs a little dirty.
But, look at how fluffy and pom-pom-ie the puff looks!

The picture doesn't pick up the colour as well but its nice pastel subtle bright peach.

Its really bright --hence "pastel" cushion blusher.
But when you use it on your cheeks it blends nice.

It looks really chalky on the picture but its actually not.
It turns out a nice flushed peach colour on the cheeks.

Recommend?
This product wasn't a OMG!! product but it was ok.
If your looking for a nice light natural blush, this is perfect for you.
But if your looking for a pigmented pop of colour on your face, don't buy this.
Its a nice blush to have in your collection but I wouldn't buy this again after I finish the current one.

Texture
The texture is really silky and soft.
When you apply it on your face it seems really light and chalk-like, but the white cast disappears after 5 seconds or so. Just simply smooth your cheeks to remove the access powder.

I believe this retails for about 5000 -6000 won in Korea.
I think I bought it for a relatively similar price on eBay-- about $5-6.
You can't really go wrong with this product cuz its so affordable and cute!

Overall, this blush is a really nice blush if your wanting a natural flush on your cheeks. I personally tend to like pigmented blushes since I am a fairly darker skinned asian -- most light shades don't show up as much.  But I do like this blush on days I want a natural, clean look. Considering the price and the product it's a all-in-all a good product.

Review) TheFaceShop Faceit Radiance Concealer Dual Veil

Hellooooo:)
Today I will be reviewing my holy grail concealer.
I came across this while researching for a good concealer.

It is the TheFaceShop Face It Radiance Concealer Dual Veil

I was immediately caught by its 1st place title in the concealer category by GetItBeauty.

For those who don't know Get It Beauty is a korean makeup show.
They have specialist guests that teach the audience about beauty.
Everything from nail art to correct shampooing is introduced on this show.
At the end of some episodes they rank highly popular beauty products through a blind test.
The blind test consists of 50 average women who test 5 products in the same category without being told the brand.

This concealer was ranked along with 4 other quite high end products and yet still won first place.
This proves not only expensive products are the best. Products in the $10 range can be as good as products in the $50-$60 range.

Anyways, it was ranked that the face it radiance concealer is better than the Laura mercier, Clinique, Bobby Brown, and Benefit with a fraction of the price.

They have 3 different shades.

I really like the packaging.
It's really sturdy and simple.

I bought the middle shade NB21.

Sorry it's a little blurry.
My focus wasn't working properly -________-;;
(click on the image to enlarge)

The design is really classic and simple.

The liquid end is a glass cylinder so the weight and grip of the concealer is nice too.
It feels like a high-end product.

The cover stick is like a lipstick.

And the liquid has a brush applicator.

To show the coverage I drew 2 lines on my wrist and covered each line.
Top- cover stick
Bottom- liquid

As you can see they have outstanding coverage.

The liquid has much more coverage though.

It seems like the liquid has a dewy finish but when it dries both are completely matte.

I did one more test on my face.
It may not be noticeable but once finished it looks more camouflaged into my skin.

In conclusion I love this product!
It has great coverage, great packaging for an outstanding price.
It retails for about $10.90 in Korea.
I bought it for about $8-9 on eBay.

The texture of both concealers are wonderful.
I have true match concealer that everyone raves about but, this is so much more better.
It's 10 times more creamy and has 10 times more coverage.
I found that the true stay looked really cakey however, this one is really natural and build able!

I can compare the liquid one to the 24 hour stay maybelline (i think,.) liquid concealer and thefaceshop one is way out of its league!
The 24 hour stay defined my dead skin cells and would crease all over the place.
I had to be really careful when applying that one to avoid it creasing.
Thefaceshop liquid part though is so nice. I can't even describe it!,
JUST GET IT AND FIND OUT FOR YOURSELF!

I would totally recommend it to everyone!
They have a version for oily skin as well.
I totally think this product is worth all the hype and I think it totally deserves the 1st place.
I think I'm going to repurchase this product when I finish it!

Pacific Mall Makeup Haul 2013 (ft. Thefaceshop, Tonymoly, Missha, etc)

Hey, this is my first post!!!

Anyways, a few days ago my friends and I went to pacific mall to go buy some korean cosmetics.

Pacific mall is located in Markham. It's right beside Market Place which we also went to.

The girls working at the store were really nice!
But, walking around the mall was such a challenge especially because all the Asian stores look the same.
And OMG. The clothes were way over priced.
Buying a nice shirt would on average cost you $50!!!!

These are all the purchases from Thefaceshop.
The ladies there gave us loads of samples!!

This cleansing tissue is really soft and smells nice :))
It cost $9.00

A large cleansing foam,170ml!!
Around $5-6

We also received these cotton pads as samples ;)

And these are the loads of samples I received!
They were really kind on explaining how each one was meant for :)

My favourite -TONYMOLY-!!!!

I actually really love this patch!!
I could see drastic changes overnight!!
You simply stick this on your pimple (recommended overnight) and the pimple reduces in size and the redness fades!!

It cost $1.50

I actually had no idea that this was a dual eyeshadow and eyeliner.
I noticed as soon as I got home and searched for reviews on this product LOOOOL.
When you unscrew the black end there's an eyeliner, and when you unscrew the end with the colour there's a attached sponge tip and powder on the inside of the cap.

You probably have NO idea what I just said.....
It costs around $5-6 each.
I got the peach and pink shades.

The peach one has a brown eyeliner and shimmery peach eyeshadow.
The pink has a really light pink eyeliner and shimmery pink eyeshadow.

I got 2 of these rice sheet masks for whitening.
Each cost $1.50

And one of this pomegranate.
This aswell $1.50 each.

These were the samples.

We also received one more sample for making the 5% off card.

Last korean cosmetic store that I bought from is Missha.

I love this hand lotion!
It's really moisturizing yet the scent is really light.
It's perfect for class.
You don't want everyone squeezing your favourite hand lotion cuz the scent is so strong.
And the size is really petite and fits into my pencil case.

There were about 5 scents I think.
I got the lemon grass.
It cost $1.99

This cost $2.99

And I got this sample of the popular Missha bb cream.
I'm thinking of purchasing the full bottle when I run out of my current bottles of bb cream.

I also made a points card at Missha.

They also had a holikaholika, though I personally didn't buy anything.
I couldn't pass taking a photo of 정일우 <3.

I got this pack of 5 earrings from a random store (I'm wearing one pair for any of you that counted ;P)
I really like these because all my metal ones seem to tarnish. So I prefer plastic earrings.

One's is located in a different building from pacific mall.
If you get out of the mall there is another building about 2 minutes walk called Market Place.

They sell tons of Asian home "stuff" and stationary.

There were a huge selection of these value packs and all had an assortment of really nice and ugly pens.

So we hid behind this random counter and started to repackage and mix the pens.....
The lady working there saw us switching, and kept an eye on us and took over the counter.
We ran to the other end of the store because we weren't finished repackaging.
BUT OMG... they had so many workers and people!!
Every corner there was a worker!!
We were sweating trying to secretly repackage.

LOOOOL sounds like some criminal escape...

Anywaysss,, they were a good buy because it came with many stationary items for only 3.99!!!

This concludes my first post on my Pacific Mall Haul.
:))
Baiii and I will post more korean beauty, fashion, kpop related posts!
Hope you enjoyed :))
