Review) Etude House Sun-Prise Cotton Touch Powder Cream

Yet another review!
I'm writing a blog post to procrastinate from doing anthro/psyche/socio homework.
I'm taking the course online and I'ts actually really nice.
I've only been in it for a week but the amount of work is really minimal.
I think we have like 4-5 units and 3-4 assignments in each.
I don't know for sure yet, but I think its gonna be a really chill online semester.
I recommend online courses (that aren't heavy in material) so that you can have a spare in school :)

Back to the blog post.. today I'm going to review the multi-functioning  Etude House Primer.
I bought this quite a while ago, I think back in May?

I actually wanted the Banila co. Primer because it had so much hype in korea and was also featured on
Get It Beauty's weekly rankings (I think its weekly...)
But I just wasn't into paying $18-19 I found online.
So I came across the Etude House Sun-prise and fell for the numerous functions it had to offer.

Also I think the name of the product is so creative :)
"SUN" "PRISE"-- like "SURPRISE" :))

This primer claims to:
 -create a light soft/matte primer/makeup base
-be long lasting
-fill in wrinkles
-cancel redness
-Oil control
-50+ SPF/PA+++
and
-pore filling and care

SO MANY!!
and they're all what an average teenage girl wants!
(except wrinkle care,,,, I dunno what they're trying to imply.
wrinkle care in a teens product? )

The little illust is so cute :)
Reminds me of the Big Comfy Couch glasses.
(ahhh, childhood memories)

50+ SPF/PA+++
Really high SPF

It's packaged in this box.

The actual product is packaged in this metal(?) tube.

The tube itself  is exactly the same as the box, design-wise.

I'm not really a big fan of the metal tube packaging.
I feel like when I'm close to finishing the product it'll be difficult to get all the product out.
I also don't like how the tube changes shape as I use it up.
I prefer the normal plastic tube packaging over this one.

The screw top is such an adorable baby pinkish colour!
So "Etude House" of them :)

I thought it was quite interesting how the tube itself was metal
and the part where the product comes out is plastic.

The cream is purple in colour.
I think that cancels out darkening in the skin and I guess redness because its one of the functions.
I'm not sure if you can see but there are little micro-balls in the cream.
I'm not sure exactly what it does though..
It applies REALLY matte. I love it!

Recommend?
I absolutely recommend this!
I use it everyday and I think it controls oil well and keeps the makeup from melting off your face in the summer. I love the matte, smooth, baby butt texture after I apply this. I don't know what else to say. It's a really nice product and stays true to most of their claims, I'm not entirely sure about the wrinkle function...

I bought this on eBay for around $6 on a bid.
The normal price is about 13000 won in korea or about $13.
I also bought a back-up, but its not the cotton-touch one, its the natural corrector or something...
BUT ITS IN A PLASTIC TUBE THIS TIME!!

If its hard to find the cotton touch version, you can probably find the sun-prise natural corrector.
I heard its equally as good. Theres many korean bloggers saying that the natural corrector is good too.
I don't think the cotton-touch is as popular though, but it's a great product : )
