Review) Conair Mini You Curl

Heyyy 

I have been really wanting to do the loose curls look lately :)) 

I went to Target and simply bought the cutest curler that was on the racks! 

It's by Conair

I have used a conair hair dryer before but never a heat hair styling product.

This product is adorable!!

Like any other curling device it claims that it makes easy curls in many different styles. 

This on also comes with the heat protectant gloves since it is a clip less curler

OMGG.. TOO CUTE TO HANDLE!!!!

On the side there is a switch to turn the heat on or off

Once turned on the light turns on,,, like any other heat styling device

I REALLY LOVE the gloves!

Usually gloves that come with hair styling products are very large for my hands however, this one fit like a "glove" ( see what I did there ^^)

I used this curler the day I got it..... 

I didn't like the results.. 

Maybe it's because I don't know how to use it well but the wand is extremely slippery. 

I have long hair that falls about 10cm below my boob

Therefore it was impossible to get all my hair into the tiny wand. 

It did work if I used half an inch of hair, but that gave me ringlets.

I bought this device to get loose natural waves and a poofy poodle makeover was not the look I was aiming for. 

If you are looking to get loose natural waves with long hair this device is not for you.. 

However, I did try it on my baby sister with short hair. 

It worked perfectly on her! 

So if you have short hair it is a cute device that would come in handy for traveling. 

I also found that it fried my hair a bit. 

I have very course hair that has been straight permed and ombred. 

Therefore it is in very bad condition. The ends have been bleached so it is very sensitive. 

After using the curler to attempt loose waves, I ended getting ringlets that were crusty on the ends. 

It was fine after lathering in hair oil though,, 

I am going to return this product tomorrow and buy a larger diameter clip curler instead. 

I'll do a proper review again soon ;))
